Noncompliant address signs can be very hard to see, particularly in low-light or smoky conditions, making it difficult for emergency services personnel to find your home in the event of a medical emergency, fire or evacuation order.
Local Studies Show High Deficiency! One item captured during the Rapid Assessment portion of our recent WiRē studies was proper Address Posting. The results were not great, showing less than 5% compliance in each of the three study areas.
Which sign is right for me?
Once you’ve determined the right sign for you, place your order by clicking the appropriate Order Now button below. We will email you when your sign is ready for pick up at your nearest Fire Station or at our office in downtown Steamboat Springs. Your email will include installation instructions.
If you have not received an email from RCWMC staff, your sign is NOT ready yet. Signs are typically available 2-4 weeks from order date. We appreciate your patience, as each sign is custom assembled.
House Sign
You can choose either a vertical or horizontal orientation. This 4 x 12″ sign should be mounted on your home or at the end of your driveway, wherever it will be most visible (some homes can be hard to see from the roadway). It’s important not to mount it to something flammable, like a wooden fence.
