The theme of this spring’s conference is policy, considering the Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code is taking effect statewide in summer 2026.

A two-day conference titled Soil, Fire, and Water: A Holistic Investigation of Watershed Health for Working Lands
(May 28th will be particularly engaging for those interested in fire and its impacts to watersheds and working lands).
- Where: Allbright Family Auditorium, Colorado Mountain College
- Why: To bring together local community members, academic researchers, and regional experts for two days of exploration, discussion, and field learning focusing on how attendees can work together to build resilience in the face of the Western climate and water crisis.
- How: The Rendezvous will include morning talks by expert panelists and practitioners, lunch, afternoon field learning, and an evening community showcase and happy hour event.
